Telephone Interpreting

Operational Infrastructure

The IEC Centralized Call Center in the United States works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Interpretation services from and to English for your Core Languages and we can add additional languages when required by you.

In the event of a service interruption, a cell telephone number is provided for emergency calling situations.

IEC has sufficient expandable services and backup capabilities in order to assist you in the event of an unforeseen emergency, regional disaster or other catastrophic occurrence where language interpretation telephone call volumes would dramatically increase.

We keep track of the exact time a call starts and ends with the interpreter. You are billed only for the interpreting time.

When you call us:
  1. A live operator answers.
  2. You are asked for the language needed.
  3. You are connected to the interpreter.
  4. When you are finished with the interpreting, you hang up.

Staffing Resources

Highly skilled and qualified professional human interpreters perform confidential telephone interpretation services. All interpreters have native fluency in their respective languages and English. All are HIPAA Compliant.

IEC has the staffing resources to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year.

Billing and Reporting

IEC provides one accurate monthly bill to you with detailed descriptions of each department's usage and cost breakdowns.

Materials and Equipment

If needed, IEC can provide all necessary telephone equipment for performance under this Contract. The purchase of all materials/equipment to provide the needed services is the responsibility of IEC.

Training of your Employees

IEC will provide all authorized employees appropriate training and instructional materials regarding the use of the interpretive services, toll free numbers and pass codes. Training is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
