Our Process
Completeness of Details
- Everything that is on the recording is included, including all pauses.
- Reviewing sections of the recording several times to minimize "Inaudible" or "Unintelligible" annotations.
- This is the recommended process to pass legal scrutiny and challenges.
Informative Level of Information
- After a second review of hard to understand sections of words, “Inaudible” or "Unintelligible" annotations will be made, unless the transcriber determines that the information is critical.
- This process is recommended if you wish to get a fairly accurate rendering of the recorded material, at a cost less then the Completeness of Detail. This level may not survive a legal challenge.
- The transcription will have footnotes and comments regarding any "grey areas."
- If the transcription and recording are to be used in court, then you can have us make another analysis of the “grey areas.”
